Monica Goldstein: beloved daughter, sister, aunt, fiancee, friend, co-worker, and neighbor
Monica worked on the 101st floor of Tower 1, as an accounts payable specialist in the brokerage firm Cantor Fitzgerald. She lived with her parents in the Dongan Hills neighborhood on Staten Island, but spent lots of time with her older sister, Adrienne Triggs, and her two nephews. Monica and her sister worked together in Manhattan until Mrs. Triggs left the workforce to have her second child. At that point, Monica took a job at the World Trade Center, apparently so she could work closer to her sister's home.
Monica was a vibrant, beautiful young woman, engaged to be married and looking forward to a full, happy life. Monica was devoted to her family and friends (many she know since childhood), and touched the lives of people who barely even knew her. She liked watching horror movies with her sister, shopping, inline skating, practical jokes, and driving her dad's cherry-red Jeep Wrangler. Her tribute site at Legacy.com shows how deeply loved she was. She is deeply missed.
Eternal rest grant to her, O Lord, and may Your perpetual light shine upon her.
