I am not a huge sports fan, and I don't know much about football, but I have to say I am very excited for my high school Alma Mater. Bishop McGuinness High School is on it's way to the State Championship (class 4A) and will probably win. If McGuinness wins, this will be the first time they have won the title. McGuinness gets its team name from Notre Dame (the Fighting Irish) and uses the same music for it's fight song.
WA-HOO - go Irish!
*UPDATE* Due to the snow and ice, the big game has been postponed until Monday Dec 4. It will be broadcast locally on KSBI Channel 52 (Channel 9 on Cox) at 7 pm.
**Up-Update**Apparently the game has been re-rescheduled, it will be broadcast at 7pm Thursday 12/7
Hi Father Leonard - the links in this post are to articles in my local paper and to the website of the high school I graduated from - I hope this answers your question!
