Well, another busy week come and gone! I had another wonderful visit with the Little Sisters, and Thanksgiving was nice. My parents have adopted a puppy, a Bichon Frise. He's only 10 weeks old and is as adorable as can be! (More about Bichons here)
I know I haven't been posting very frequently. I only now realized I had a new comment! I appreciate those of you who keep checking to see if I have added anything new to my web page. I will do the best I can to keep it focused on Oklahoma and my own life (especially discernment) as time permits - there are many other bloggers doing a great job of keeping up with current affairs and Church news. During Advent I may try and go deeper in writing about discernment and my relationship with Our Lord.
I highly recommend the film Mother Theresa, starring Olivia Hussey and directed by Fabrizio Costa. Even though it didn't seem to "flow" very well (skipping 15 years at a time at some points) I thought it was very well done. It might help to think of it as anecdotes that highlight her spirituality and work, and her relationship with Jesus rather than a continuous biographic.

A personal note to anyone out there who may be discerning and might have a dark spot in her past - please don't let past sins (grave though they may be) discourage you from exploring religious life. Speak to a priest and go to confession if you need to.
